About the Heart Failure and Obesity Clinical Research Study
Researchers are studying Maridebart Cafraglutide in adults living with heart failure with preserved or mildly reduced ejection fraction (HFpEF or HFmrEF) and obesity.
The study is designed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the study medication and its potential effects on important heart failure-related health outcomes.
During the first part of the study, participants may receive either Maridebart Cafraglutide or placebo.
This is a clinical research study. Participation does not guarantee a personal benefit, and the study team will explain the potential risks and benefits before you decide whether to participate.

Why Heart Failure and Obesity Research Matters:Â
Understanding Heart Failure & Obesity
- Heart failure and obesity can occur together and may create additional health challenges.
- Many people continue experiencing symptoms despite current treatment.
People living with heart failure may experience symptoms that affect everyday activities, while obesity can add to the overall cardiovascular burden.
Researchers are studying new approaches to better understand how potential treatments may affect people living with both conditions.
Every Participant Helps Advance Research
Your participation may help researchers learn more about heart failure and obesity and contribute to future cardiovascular research.
